Betty Lockler’s Legacy
This scholarship honors the remarkable legacy of Betty Lockler—a devoted nurse at OU Children’s Hospital and a loving mom whose family was deeply rooted in the Oklahoma Hemophilia Foundation community. As both a member and advocate within the bleeding disorders community, Betty’s personal experience fueled her compassion and tireless dedication, bringing hope and strength to countless families.
Betty’s commitment extended far beyond her nursing career. She selflessly served OHF in many capacities—camp cook, camp director, board member, and board president, to name a few —always leading with warmth, humility, and unwavering dedication. She also continued to dedicate her time as a nurse for Camp Bond, even after her retirement from OU Children’s Hospital.
Her leadership and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone she touched.
This scholarship supports individuals pursuing higher education in healthcare, carrying forward Betty’s passion for compassionate care and advocacy. Through this gift, her enduring spirit continues to inspire future generations to serve with the same heart and dedication she exemplified.
