This year's Red Jacket Challenge proved to be the best
ever!
Held Friday, September 26th at Rose Creek Golf Club in
Edmond. We had 22 teams (84 players) and some of the finest
weather we could have hoped for. In addition to many teams that we
enjoy hosting each year, we had several new teams that we hope to see again
for many years to come.
The excitement kicked off with a ball drop from a fire
department ladder truck and then the field of players charged onto the
course to tee off.
This year marks the first time that every hole on the
course was sponsored and we would like to thank those who so generously
donated.
The Red Jacket Challenge is the OHF's biggest internal
fundraiser and after everything was said and done the proceeds from the
Challenge will cover at least half of the expense of our annual Camp
Independence.
Without the help of so many volunteers we could not
continue to grow our event and provide such an enjoyable day for our
participants. Our deepest gratitude goes out to all those who took the
time to put their talents to work on the Red Jacket Challenge!
