About Hemophilia and OHF
Hemophilia is a genetic bleeding disorder which prevents or inhibits a person's ability to coagulate or clot properly.
With treatment, these individuals can lead virtually normal lives. However, these treatments are life long, require medical supervision, and are extremely expensive.
The Oklahoma Hemophilia Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), volunteer-based organization which provides educational and financial support for Oklahoma families challenged with all variations of bleeding disorders. Funds are generated through donations and contributions of individuals and corporations, as well as fundraising efforts such as the Red Jacket Challenge.
